All shortcodes are available in the WYSIWYG editor for posts and pages. Create a new post/page and play with them.
You can also use the shortcodes in a text widget or in a slider slide:
- Generate the shortcode from the WYSIWYG editor (easier that way)
- Copy the shortcode
- Drad and drop a Text Widget in sidebar
- Paste the shortcode in the Text Widget and Save
